Wastes from domestic activities, runoffs from agricultural systems, and minor industrial wastes are threatening the overall socio-economic values of a river system. As such, a study was conducted on estimating the socio-economic value of Layawan River system in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental as a consequence of prevailing threats on water pollution.
