This study was conducted at the Crop Science experimental area in the College of Agriculture, from September to November 2011 to 1) evaluate the influence of vermicast on the growth and yield of sweet corn; 2)determine the optimum level of vermicast for the growth and yield of sweet corn; and 3) assess the economic returns of sweet corn production using vermicast. The treatments used are as follows: T1 – 200g vermicast/hill, T2 – 150g vermicast/hill, T3 – 100g vermicast/hill, and T4 – 50g vermicast/hill, T5 – Zero vermicast (Control).??
