1. To determine the effects of Lemongrass decoction of the growth performance of broiler.
2. To evaluate the weekly weight gain of broiler.
3. To determine water and feed consumption of broilers.
4. To evaluate which treatment has the highest ROC.
Methods:
Complete Randomized Design (CRD)
Findings and Results:
Result of individual treatment, showed that the birds in Treatment 1 (50g of lemongrass decoction) obtained the highest total weight of 20.2 kg. and the lowest was observe at Treatment 3 (100g. of lemongrass decoction) with 17.7kg.
Conclusion:
It was concluded that the use of lemongrass decoction as source of drinking water for the broiler has failed to produce great difference in the weight of broiler. It is better to use plain water alone.
