This study was conducted at the Crop Science Experimental Area of the College of Agriculture, JH Cerilles State College-Dumingag Campus, Dapiwak, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur from October 8, 2010 to January 12, 2011 using Randomized Complete Block Desing (RCBD) with an area of 884 sq. m. to determine the effects of the frequency of decapitation on the yield of hybrid squash. The treatments are as follows: Treatment 1 – decapitated once; Treatment 2 – decapitated twice at 50cm and repeated at 50 cm; Treatment 3 – decapitated twice and repeated at 75cm; and Treatment 4 – zeroed capitation.??
The results revealed that the data
obtained on the different parameters do not significantly differ among the
treatments used, hence, the result suggests that decapitation methods do not
increase yield of hybrid squash.
Objectives:
1. To
determine the effects of the frequency of decapitation on the yield of hybrid
squash.

Findings and Results:
1. The
results revealed that the data obtained on the different parameters do not
significantly differ among the treatments used, hence, the result suggests
