Abstract:
The study was conducted from November 18 to December 31, 2007 at Layasan, Bago, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. The poultry house was thoroughly cleaned. The cages were divided into 12 equal compartments to accommodate 15 birds per treatment with five heads per cages. Three levels of Aloe vera Extract were tested 10 ml Aloe vera Extract, 20 ml Aloe vera Extract, and 30 ml Aloe vera Extract mixed into 1000 ml of water and control (plain water).??
Objectives:
To determine the effects of different levels of Aloe vera Extract on the growth performance of broilers.
Methods:
Complete Randomized Design (CRD)
Findings and Results:
Result of individual treatment, weight shows that the birds in Treatment 2 (20 ml Aloevera Etract and 30 ml Aloevera Extract mixed into 1000 ml of water and control (plain water). The result of study revealed that the levels of Aloevera Extract shows insignificant variations among the weight of broiler in the treatments.
Conclusion:
Based on the statistical computation, the weight of broiler was not affected by the levels of Aloevera Etract, the levels of Aloevera Extract failed to produce great differences in theweight of broilers.
