This study "Effects of Varied Levels of Madre de Agua (Trichantera gigantea) On the Growth Performance of Goat in Total Confinement Method of Rearing" was conducted at Sanao, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte on March 6, 2018 to May 4, 2018. The study was conducted using 12 Sheep from Jose Rizal Memorial State University - Katipunan Campus, Sanao, Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte. The total area of the study one (1) hectare was divided into three (3) blocks to accommodate the twelve (12) heads of sheep. A block was provided with a rearing house in which accommodated four (4) representative animals. The remaining area was divided futher into four (12) cages for the grazing area of the research animal. The statistical tool used in the study was Ramdomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The following were its treatments T0 - Control (100% Concentrate), T1 - (100% Concentrate + 10 % Madre de Agua), T2 - (100 % Concentrate + 15 of Madre de Agua), T3 - (100% Concentrate + 20 5 of Madre de Agua). The study lasted sixty (60) days of observation.

Objectives:

To determine which levels Madre de Agua promote better growth performance of sheep and to find out its Feed Covertion Efficiency (FCE) and Return of Investment (ROI) of the study.

Methods:

Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD)

Findings and Results:

Result of the study revealed insignificant differences as observed on the fifteen (15) days, thirty (30) days, forty-five (45) days and sixty (60) days of weight, feed consumption. On the other hand, no significant results was noted on gain in weight at .05% level and 0.01. This indicated that Madre de Agua had no influenced the growth performance of the study animals.

Conclusion:

The result of the study clearly showed that the use of Madre de Agua has not influenced on the growth performance of sheep in the different levels of Madre de Agua hence result it as insignificant. This implied that Madre de Agua has no bering on the gain weight.
