Title: Production of Cassava in Holes Using Different Organic Fertilizers
Number of Authors: 0
Abstract:
The
study aimed to determine the growth and yield performance of cassava fertilized
with different organic fertilizers: T1 – Cattle manure; T2
– Chicken dung; T3 – Vermicast; and T4 – Herbage planted in
hole-based. An area of 646 square meters was laid out using randomized complete
block design replicated three times. The study was conducted from July 2011 to
March 2012 at the experimental area of J.H. Cerilles State College-Dumingag
Campus, Dapiwak, Dumingag Zambaoanga del Sur. Each seed piece contains four
active bud eyes planted in holes at a distance of once square meter by 0.30m
depth.
The result of the study revealed
that chicken dung has a considerable fertilizing value on the production of
cassava considering the weight, circumference, and yield while the length and
ROI are the results of herbage fertilization.

Fauna Name: Metapenaeus Ensis
Description:
Bagal Shrimp has a thick skin unlike the other shrimps (excluding bakeke shrimp). Bagal Shrimp is a little bit small shrimp but it has a fast speed when it comes to crawling or jumping. Bagal Shrimp has a large eyes and when its eyes were confront with brightness or light, its eye color will change into red became of the reflection. If three are compared with, bagal shrimp is the small one but a fast one unlike the mistesa shrimp.

Recently Added Flora
Flora Name: Cauliflower
Description:
Is an herbaceous annual or biennial vegetable plant in the family Brassicaceae grown for its edible head. The head is actually a mass of abortive flowers (flowers which are unable to produce fruit or seed as they possess only female reproductive organs; the male organs are either underdeveloped or totally lacking). Cauliflower plants are shallow rooted with a small, thickened stem. The ribbed leaves branch off the top of the stem and are light green in color. The plant can reach a height of 1–1.5 m (3.3–4.9 ft) and is most commonly grown as an annual, harvested between 60 and 100 days after planting.
Family: Brassicaceae
Genus: Brassica
Species: B. oleracea var. botrytis

Local Name: Cauliflower
